COVID-19 UPDATES & GUIDELINES

UPDATE 8/31/2021

Happy (almost) September!

CGA is so excited to see you all for our Fall Session starting tomorrow, September 1st!

We wanted to update everyone on our current policies for our classes.  We are SO EXCITED for a fun-filled school year!

Class Procedure

  • Students will sign in at the table following the yellow arrows before going to their line

  • Please continue to use the cubbies in the lobby to keep shoes in during class - this will help keep the lobby more clear for walking pathways

  • Please send a distinguishable water bottle to keep in their class crate - they need to be able to tell which one is theirs

  • We will still be offering the use of the car loop for the parents that wish to take advantage of the ease of the drop off and pick up procedure

  • If you are inside watching class, your student must be picked up from their colored line and released by their coach or the dismissal supervising coach

  • Parent assisted classes are permitted one parent with the student during class.  Any other adult(s) must remain in the viewing room

Viewing Room

  • Our lobby and viewing room will be limited.  We ask that you do your best to remain distanced from others.  All adults inside the CGA building will be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.  Please limit your viewing to one person per family and we ask that you do not attend every week - unless you’re in a parent assisted class.  As a reminder, you can register for our SpotTV app where you can view your child's class from your phone or tablet so you can still watch their class without being physically inside the building.

    • No children under the age of 10 may be left unattended in the viewing room or lobby

Cleaning & Masks

  • Following the trends in our county and what our surrounding schools have implemented, we will be highly encouraging masks for all children ages 6 and older.  Students will be permitted mask breaks and to pull it under their chin while actively doing a station, or getting a drink but should be placed back over nose and mouth while waiting in lines and listening to instructions by the coach.

  • All adults will be required to wear masks while inside the CGA building whether watching in the viewing room or out in the gym in a parent-participation class regardless of vaccination status

  • Our coaches, vaccinated or not, will begin wearing their masks again as well.  Coaches will also be permitted to take their mask down if they are further than 6 feet away from students as it is still hot in the gym with these high temperatures.

  • Our staff will be ramping up our cleaning procedure to include cleaning all mats that are being used once per hour and then again at the end of the night when all classes are done.

  •  If your child is experiencing any symptoms of any kind of sickness, please err on the side of caution and keep your child at home.

Safety of our athletes and staff are always our number one priority and we will continue to put that at the forefront of our focus.  We appreciate every single one of you for being a part of our CGA Family!  We are hoping for a healthy school year for all of our students!

We can't wait to see you!
